What is Xenization?
Xenization is the act of traveling as a stranger, as if for the first time.
Often, xenization invokes the sense of a melancholy or loneliness one might feel as a person alone in a foreign land.

“Xen-” comes from Greek xénos, which as an adjective means foreign or strange; as a noun, it means a foreigner or a stranger. It is pronounced as “zen” and is the same origin of the words xenophilia and xenophobia.
