What is a No-Show?
A no-show, in travel industry parlance, is a customer, passenger, or guest, such as at a restaurant, hotel, or flight, that does not arrive for their reservation and does not give warning or notification of their change of plans.
A no-show may be charged a fee or could lose some or all of any deposit or ticket price paid, in some cases.

No-shows are people who basically do not show up to their reservation, whether it’s a flight, restaurant reservation, hotel booking, or some other place.
While no-shows often hurt the company involved, airlines often take a few no-shows per flight into account, which is why they sometimes oversell tickets, which in turn may lead to a voucher auction soon after.
