And as an added little bonus, we’ve listed the names of the months in the Swedish language below the month’s name in English, as well as the Swedish name for the holidays (if we could find them) 🙂

  • 6 January: Epiphany (Trettondedag jul. Also known as “Three Kings Day” – a Christian feast day.)

  • Varying Friday: Good Friday (Långfredagen. The Friday preceding Easter Sunday, anytime from end of March through April)
  • Varying Sunday: Easter Sunday (Påsk. Easter in “Western Christianity” is always on one Sunday between 22 March and 25 April on the Gregorian calendar, sometime during the first week after the astronomical full moon.)

  • Varying Saturday: Midsummer’s Day (Midsommardagen. The Saturday which falls during the period of 20 – 26 June. Celebrating the summer solstice.)
