Bulkhead Seat

Updated: 2017-12-20.

A bulkhead seat is a seat located directly behind a bulkhead wall separator.

As these bulkhead seats don’t have the benefit of a seatback in front of them, conveniences such as the IED (in-flight entertainment device), seatback storage pocket, and tray table may be positioned elsewhere.

Bulkhead seats often have more legroom than conventional seats, and without the inconvenience of having a reclining passenger in front of them.
