Baggage Carousel

The baggage carousel is the conveyor belt apparatus at an airport where checked bags end up to allow deplaned passengers to pick them up.

Baggage carousels are normally situated as an island or peninsula in shape, and passengers wait around bagonizing until their luggage comes around. Then, the passenger removes the suitcase or bag from the carousel and continues on.

Baggage carousels are sometimes referred to as: a luggage carousel, baggage belt, or a luggage belt
