“Your true traveler finds boredom rather agreeable than painful. It is the symbol of his liberty-his excessive freedom. He accepts his boredom, when it comes, not merely philosophically, but almost with pleasure.” – Aldous Huxley

Here’s a travel poem I came up with while in a state of caffeine-rich sleep deprivation about the purpose of these quotes here on Dauntless Jaunter:
Dauntless Jaunter quotes are dispensations on migrations,
Inconsistent quotations for encouraging contemplation,
These are meant to elicit temptation towards vacations,
And nudge you into exploration of other nations.
A dose of motivation to get you to visit new locations,
A bit of inspiration to push you through embarkation,
Traveling lessens bigotry, promotes discrimination eradication,
The finest education is first-hand examination.
There’s so much to experience, you could build relations with the Haitians,
And others out there to befriend, such as the Croatian population,
Traditions for observation, and languages for translation,
And cuisines to cause intense constipation and flatulation.
There many ways to move about, ground transportation and aviation,
Perhaps you fancy the world from above, like Appalachian navigation,
Or maybe you’ve a bit of high elevation hesitation,
That’s fine, there are endless other destinations and recreations.
These innocent provocations will hopefully be in moderation,
We’d hate to be the source of your aggravation and frustration,
We simply hope for the elimination of your reservations,
Unless those reservations are at airports and train stations.
Reason: Migration of site from the old, long URL (www.dauntlessjaunter.com) to this long-overdue shorter one 🙂 (we may have updated some typos or metadata while we were at it)
